The European Commission adopted a proposal to give Ukrainian producers more and better access to the EU market for a number of agricultural and industrial products by temporarily raising tariff quotas.
The European Commission adopted a proposal to give Ukrainian producers more and better access to the EU market for a number of agricultural and industrial products by temporarily raising tariff quotas (TRQ) for 3 years in addition to the preferential tariff-rate quotas set out in EU Regulation # 374/2014.
The Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine (in Ukrainian) estimated additional $200 million of agricultural products to be shipped to the EU market from Ukraine as the result of practical application of new TRQ levels.
